I knew I wasn't getting much in the way of caloric intake, but I didn't realize just HOW low it was. I'm supposed to be aiming for about 800 calories a day, and 50-60 grams of protein. Notsomuch.
ObesityHelp.com has an awesome new nutrition tracker that I love love love, and just started using yesterday. I did a LOT better on my intake yesterday than I did today.
Yesterday:
2 huge cups of coffee
About half of a leftover baked potato with a little bit of butter, sour cream, & cheese
About 3 oz steak
Maybe 2 oz of the scrambled egg I made
A slice of ham in the egg
Which all worked out to about 768 calories, and a beautiful 59 g protein. Yay me, even though I don't think I did well on my water. Who does?
Today:
1 huge cup of coffee
Roadside Lemonade Nectar protein with a packet of cranberry-lemonade Ocean Spray stuff (also counts as a water, take THAT caffeine!)
Maybe 2 oz of roasted chicken breast
About 1 oz mashed taters with butter & fat free half & half
That's it. I'm stuffed. And that was a whoppin' 237 calories and 42 g protein. Gah. I'm going to have to have another lemonade before I go to bed. I have GOT to get my protein to 60 g a day, I want my hair back!!
Check out the nutrition tracker, it's an eye opener. I think I'm going to go back to my habit of posting my eats for the day, too. I need to be more accountable.
BTW, as of this morning, 70 POUNDS GONE!!!! 38 to go until I re-evaluate what my goal should be.
